About Rebecca

My name is Rebecca (or Aoi or Usa or Red or Hey You).

I’m currently dekoboko 17 (…getitgetitgetit?!?!)

When I’m not being mildly sarcastic about the wonderful world of H!P, I’m wearing classic lolita or eating something yummy. Or doing both at the same time.

I like books and history and antiques.

Because this is a H!P blog, here’s my ranking:

Momusu: Linlin, Kamei, Sayumi, Ai/Gaki (tie), Junjun, Mitsui, Reina.

Berryz Koubou: Captain, Maasa, Kumai, Momoko, Chinami, Miyabi, Risako.

C-ute: Okai Chisato, Suzuki Airi, Mai, Maimi, Saki

And yes. I like hearts. Rather a lot.

And now, a FAQ, because I do actually get asked certain questions frequently, and because I really, really like talking about myself:

Q: Are you really a girl?

A: Yes. I can only assume the people asking me this have read my enthusiastic fanservice posts, but I am indeed female. Abundantly so.

A: It’s a Japanese street fashion inspired by Victorian and Rococo era clothing. It has nothing to do with the book. I don’t care about older men one way or the other.

Q: Can I see a picture of you?

A: Sure, why not? FDR's dog and I

Q: Why don’t you like Reina/Risako/Mano Eri?

A: Because she bleats like a sheep; Actually I’m starting to like her a bit more; Because she gorges on the raw flesh of other Idols.

Q: OMG. WRITE ABOUT __________!!!!!!!!!!!

A: …No… That’s also not a question.

Q: Would you consider writing about _____ if the subject interests you and you have time?
A: Why yes, I would! Congratulations, you managed to write in the form of a question! You would do well during the double jeopardy round. 😉

Q: What does “oh my Gaki” mean?
A: Well, I don’t belong to the Church of Maasa, and saying “Oh my God” just feels weird. Thus, “oh my Gaki.”

Hi, I came across your site whilst looking for JMusic blogs. I’ve just started a site to promote JMusic and bring many authors together and wondered if you’d like to sign up and submit your article links.

    The site is http://www.jpopjapan.com

The idea behind the site is that people submit links to their blog articles or other peoples articles and members vote on these. The top rated articles go on the front page for everyone to see.

I hope to promote other JMusic blogs and with the help of the community we can bring JMusic content to many people.

I hope to see you at JPop Japan! 🙂
